Business Purpose 2030 event series

24th June 2020

Business Purpose 2030 event series
haysmacintyre is pleased to announce the soft launch of our Business Purpose 2030 virtual event series, which will be held throughout 2020! We will be debating different themes that examine how the core purpose of a business will inform its success a decade from now.

Focusing on the changing demands and opportunities businesses face, the Business Purpose 2030 series will see a rotating panel of subject matter experts discuss a wide range of topics in an attempt to navigate a route to business success in 2030. The topics will all undoubtedly consider the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and will include:

  • Current political and economic uncertainty
  • Fluid funding environment
  • Ongoing war for talent
  • Influence of business ethics
  • Pivoting consumer demands

What do we mean by purpose? A company’s purpose is not its vision, mission or values. A vision statement lays out what the organisation aspires to be; the mission defines the business goals; the values describe the desired culture; and the principles give employees a set of directions.  Purpose, on the other hand, emphasises how the organisation should view and conduct itself and therefore shapes how it is seen by all stakeholders, internal and external – an important concept.

A strong purpose will inspire staff and express the organisation’s impact on the lives of customers and clients…and this is where our first event of the series comes in.

We will be announcing details of our first virtual event, including who will be our esteemed panel, very shortly – look out for more information on our LinkedIn and Twitter channels, and please do join the conversation online using #BusinessPurpose2030.

For further information, please contact Natasha Frangos, Partner, Head of Corporate or your usual haysmacintyre contact.
