Kay is a private client and trust specialist who has a wealth of experience in advising high net worth individuals and their families and resident and Non-resident trustees.
Kay started her career at the Inland Revenue before moving in to practice. Kay has experience in all areas of personal tax planning for UK resident individuals including all aspects of estate planning such as Inheritance Tax planning, succession and will planning. In addition to advising UK residents, Kay also advises non-resident and non-domiciled individuals and foreign nationals moving to the UK.
Kay has experience in advising non-resident trustees on the complexities of the UK tax legislation and the implications for UK resident settlors and beneficiaries who benefit from offshore trust funds.
Kay has been a Council member of the Association of Taxation Technicians since 2015 and is currently vice chair of the Business Development Steering Group. Kay has also been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners since 2012 and is able to assist clients with estate administration and obtaining probate.
Outside work, Kay enjoys being outdoors, walking the dog, hiking, running and cycling. Kay is also an avid supporter of grass roots football and holds the post of Treasurer at her local junior football club.
