Peter has over five years of experience in the professional services industry, having worked on specialist relief schemes in both business rates and corporate tax.
Peter specialises in R&D tax relief, where he has a proven history of claim success across a range of sectors including fintech, software, engineering, manufacturing, construction, and oil and gas industries to name a few.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2022, Peter was a senior technical consultant for one of the largest regulated tax advisory firms in the country, prior to large buyout from a US corporation. Peter led technical discussions with clients on their research and development activities and successfully took a lead on a number of high value R&D tax enquiries.
Peter also has experience in frontend software development and is very comfortable consulting across a range of complex technological challenges that clients face.
Having lived in mainland China for over five years after graduating, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife finding similar delicious restaurants and eateries around London.
