Kiran Chotai

Having a broad range of experience under his belt, Kiran, whilst specialising in matters such as Income Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax, has a good understanding of the other taxes, and so enjoys advising clients taking a holistic approach.

Kiran joined haysmacintyre in 2006 from a small firm where he had gained experience in bookkeeping, VAT compliance, payroll matters, accounts preparation, corporate and personal tax compliance, audit and overall practice management.

Outside of haysmacintyre, Kiran does a lot of voluntary work with charities that promote education, spiritual well-being, yoga and help alleviate hunger in the UK and in the Asian sub-continent.

In his spare time, Kiran enjoys spending time with his young family, travelling and playing (and trying to sing!) the harmonium, a traditional Indian instrument.

Jonny Broadley

Jonny enjoys advising clients on diverse and challenging matters which extend beyond the audit, such as corporate governance and operating with an international reach.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2020, Jonny was a manager at the National Audit Office, where he had key roles in the HM Treasury, FCO and Home Office teams. He also represented the United Nations Board of Auditors covering their peace keeping operations around the world. Prior to that, Jonny trained and qualified with Deloitte working across both not for profit and corporate clients.

Beyond haysmacintyre, Jonny has worked with Accounting for International Development to advise on improving the financial capacity for overseas charities.

In his spare time, Jonny enjoys golf, tennis and skiing.

Andrew Roberts

Andrew focuses on international charities, as well as school clients. Andrew has assisted a number of clients with mergers, advising on due diligence.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2020, Andrew worked at another mid tier firm delivering audit and accountancy advise to charity and not for profit clients.

Outside of the workplace, Andrew sits on the audit and risk committee for a large group of further education colleges and also sits on the finance committee for a smaller charity which uses the power of football to work with children to improve their outcomes at school.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys spending timer with his family and pottering around his garden.

Sarah Wilson-Nolan

Sarah has vast experience in working with growing businesses, assisting them with their corporation tax profile in the UK and internationally. Sarah’s key areas of advisory matters include working closely with clients to prepare R&D claims and creative sector tax credit claims

Stephen Patey

Stephen advises on a wide range of VAT issues for commercial and not for profit organisations specialising in issues such as partial exemption, non-business apportionments, and property developments. Stephen also advises clients on the VAT treatment of overseas transactions and is a lead member of haysmacintyre’s EMEA international desk

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2009, Stephen worked for HM Revenue & Customs within the VAT Assurance team.

In his spare time, Stephen enjoys travelling and spending time with his young family.
