Wes has a proven track record of supporting his clients’ outsourcing and compliance requirements, including GABRIEL/RegData reporting. Wes prides himself on building strong relationships with his clients and advising on system controls.
Wes owns and holds ‘involved’ management positions for both a property investment company and a fish & chip shop/restaurant, which ideally places him in providing business insights and advisory services based on his own experiences of ‘sitting on both sides of the fence’.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre in January 2015 and specialising in outsourcing services, Wes trained at a small practice based in North London gaining experience in accounts, audit and tax.
Before his career in accountancy, Wes was a professional/semi-professional footballer making over 500 senior appearances. He is an endurance sport enthusiast, finishing multiple full-distance Ironman events, but you will mostly find him on the golf course in his spare time.
Serena specialises in delivering robust audits to her clients in the Financial Services sector (predominantly hedge fund managers and corporate finance boutiques). She has extensive experience working on FCA regulated audits.
In her spare time, Serena enjoys visiting new restaurants to eat with family and friends and going to watch Spurs play football… when they actually play well.
Will works with a range of clients within the CMT and FS sectors, from start ups to more established companies. As a member of the training and development team, he understands the challenges of continual learning in a rapidly changing environment and helps internal staff and external clients alike keep abreast of the latest sector and regulatory updates.
In his spare time, Will is a member of Surrey County Cricket Club and one of the small number of Burton Albion fans in the country.
Miranda has a wide portfolio of clients across various corporate sectors including property, hospitality and CMT. Many of Miranda’s clients she has serviced continuously since the start of her career and she prides herself on her ability to understand her clients needs and respond efficiently with accurate and effective corporation tax advice.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2015, Miranda worked as a chalet host in the Austrian Alps for 5 months having finished her Biology undergraduate degree at the University of Nottingham.
In her spare time, Miranda enjoys Crossfit, cycling and visiting the wonderful restaurants London has to offer.
Rob specialises in managing statutory audits and regulatory assurance work in the financial services sector. In addition to his focus on fund management clients his portfolio includes further corporate clients, educational trusts and schools, membership bodies and firms of solicitors.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2007 Rob studied history at the University of Bristol and for the ICAEW ACA qualification at BPP.
In his spare time, Rob enjoys trips and activities with his young family, cycling, cooking and fishing.
Sudhir specialises in delivering robust and efficient audits to clients primarily in the tech sector. His experience ranges from small owner managed start ups, to large listed FTSE 100 companies.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2021, Sudhir was a manager at a top 10 firm, where he was a key member of the audit team, assisting to redesign audit methodology across the department, achieving top file review scores and improving audit efficiencies.
In his spare time Sudhir enjoys yoga, the gym, investing and experiencing the latest bars and restaurants across the capital.
Rico has over seven years of experience in corporation tax compliance and broader advisory. His specialisms include R&D and creative sector reliefs and capital allowances. As an R&D specialist, he has broad experience in the preparation of R&D tax relief claims and is able to advise on how to both maximise the value and reduce the risk of making a claim. He has prepared claims for a range of businesses, across multiple sectors and including some household names.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre, Rico trained at Grant Thornton and Smith and Williamson before joining EY’s R&D team.
Beyond haysmacintyre, Rico is a keen sports coach and community volunteer which anchors him to his local community and bolsters his awareness of local issues.
In his spare time, Rico enjoys tennis, rugby, film & TV and attempting ambitious DIY projects.
Nicky is part of the hospitality team at haysmacintyre and offers audit and assurance services to our clients. Her portfolio includes restaurants, hotels and pubs of varying sizes. Nicky trained with Haysmacintyre and joined the hospitality team in 2020 after becoming ACA qualified.
In her spare time Nicky enjoys travelling to new places and finding new restaurants in London to explore!
Donna has a large portfolio of clients spanning from owner managed businesses to complex groups across a range of sectors, including property, CMT and financial services.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2018, Donna trained and qualified at a small practice gaining experience in accounts, audit and tax.
In her spare time, Donna enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures, eating out at new restaurants and the occasional DIY project.
