Dinesh Pancholi

Dinesh provides expert advice and support to clients ranging from large corporations to OMBs. He covers all areas of employment tax including employment related securities compliance and reporting.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in October 2021, Dinesh was a Senior Manager in the PKF Smith Cooper Employment taxes team.

Previous to joining an accountancy practice, Dinesh was an HMRC Employer Compliance Office so he can share his experience from both sides!

In his spare time Dinesh enjoys watching football and cricket, reading and listening to music.

David Goode

David specialises in Professional Institutes and Membership Bodies (PIMBs) and enjoys advising clients on diverse and challenging matters which extend beyond the audit.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2013 as part of the firms graduate training scheme, David worked for a private ambulance firm in a flexible role that combined office administration and patient facing service delivery.

Outside of work at haysmacintyre, David is the treasurer for a charity based in Southwark which aims to tackle poverty and social injustice, which bolsters his awareness of initiatives from a client’s perspective.

In his spare time, David enjoys keeping in touch with friends and occasionally keeping active with running or racket sports.

Joanne Hennessy

Jo is experienced in all aspects of employment taxes from compliance requirements, supporting clients with HMRC investigations through to proving advice. Working in these areas has demonstrated how the impact on each client of the same legislation can be significantly different which keeps her passionate about her role.

Jo’s professional development started with HMRC, when it was still the Inland Revenue and was then enhanced through her time in work for two of the current big four accountants before joining haysmacintyre in 2007.

Jo’s was a primary school governor which was a rewarding and interesting experience which as her children have moved on to higher education has now come to an end.

Outside of work Jo keenly follows her son’s sporting and scouting achievements and also visits the gym, and takes part in some organised classes. In addition, she enjoys a good walk a beautiful surrounding whenever possible, going to the theatre and reading.

Caroline Boardley

Caroline enjoys building strong, collaborative relationships with her clients and assisting with technical queries beyond the audit cycle. She has experience of assisting clients with non-audit services such as due diligence for charity mergers and providing training to trustee groups.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2021, Caroline was an audit manager in the charities and not for profit team at a top 20 firm, where she was a member of their Charity Technical Group.

Away from haysmacintyre, Caroline has recently acted as a volunteer treasurer for her local branch of a national military welfare charity.

In her spare time, Caroline is an avid crafter and baker with varying degrees of success.

Jamie Whale

Jamie specialises in providing direct tax and Gift Aid tax advice to not-for-profit organisations, including charities, sports governing bodies and membership organisations. His clients span the not for profit sector and include many large household name charities, together with a growing portfolio of internationally focussed organisations.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2019 Jamie worked in the wider corporate sector and has a wide range of experiences across small, medium and Big 4-sized firms and clients.

Jamie also advises owner-managed businesses and property sector clients on their corporation tax affairs.

In his spare time, Jamie is an avid follower of football and cricket, and enjoys attending live music and summer festivals. He also enjoys running and volunteering at his local parkrun event.

Jo-Ann Beisty

Jo-Ann focuses on running the compliance process for a variety of clients as well as well as advising and assisting non-resident property companies on UK filing obligations.

Jo-Ann joined the firm in 2004 as a junior assistant in a much smaller department before specialising in Charity/not for profit sector issues in 2013. The firm now has a dedicated not for profit team within the wider Business Tax department.

In her spare time, Jo-Ann enjoys skiing, country music and Gaelic sports.

Jonny Broadley

Jonny enjoys advising clients on diverse and challenging matters which extend beyond the audit, such as corporate governance and operating with an international reach.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2020, Jonny was a manager at the National Audit Office, where he had key roles in the HM Treasury, FCO and Home Office teams. He also represented the United Nations Board of Auditors covering their peace keeping operations around the world. Prior to that, Jonny trained and qualified with Deloitte working across both not for profit and corporate clients.

Beyond haysmacintyre, Jonny has worked with Accounting for International Development to advise on improving the financial capacity for overseas charities.

In his spare time, Jonny enjoys golf, tennis and skiing.

Jackson Berry

Jackson advises clients on the correct interpretation of relevant accounting standards, and provides ongoing support on such matters beyond the audit timeframe. He believes in a manager-led approach to offer experienced advice and to build strong client relationships, and is the main point of contact for a number of clients.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in early 2021, Jackson was a manager at a leading London-based firm of Chartered Accountants, where he acted as the firm’s charities expert and a key member of the training team, with focus on presenting updates and training on the NFP sector to all levels within the firm and leading the audit and assurance training for graduates.

Jackson also has wide experience in auditing and advising other entities, ranging from landed estates, renewable energy producers, clothing retailers, and companies investing in or constructing properties. He is familiar with a number of different accounting standards and has assisted clients in transitioning between these.

In his spare time, Jackson enjoys long dog walks, cycling and gardening.

Tim Bennet

Tim ensures his audits are delivered as efficiently as possible, whilst maintaining a thorough level of review and high audit quality.

Tim qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016 whilst working for a two-partner firm in Surrey which specialises in charity audits. After developing his experience in commercial audits for another top-25 accountancy firm, he decided to specialise in the not-for-profit sector and, to this end, joined haysmacintyre in 2018.

Outside of work, Tim is the Treasurer of the Tennis section of a nearby sports club.

Tim enjoys as much tennis, squash, and running as he can fit in between looking after his young daughter, born in 2020.

Kamlesh Chauhan

The VAT rules are constantly evolving with continual changes in HMRC practice and guidance, case law, and VAT legislation. Kam ensures that he is up to date with VAT developments and keeps clients informed on how any changes may affect them. As an experienced VAT adviser, Kam prides himself on being able to explain complex VAT matters to clients in way that they can understand.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2012, Kam worked for a ‘Top 10’ accountancy firm for a number of years in a generalist role as well as being a member of a ‘Big 4’ VAT team specialising in Financial Services.

Beyond haysmacintyre, Kam is involved in the VAT Practitioners Group which is an organisation that brings together individuals with an interest in VAT from a variety of backgrounds to share VAT knowledge.

In his spare time, Kam enjoys spending time with his young children, playing sports, and reading detective novels.
