Lewis Buckland

Lewis has experience in supporting clients with applying best practice in system controls implementation and improving financial and operational procedures.

Lewis trained and qualified as a chartered accountant before progressing to a managerial position at haysmacintyre.

In his spare time, Lewis enjoys playing most sports including golf, squash and tennis.

Hannah Chilmaid

As a linguist, Hannah works closely alongside our MSI Global Alliance counterparts in both Germany and Austria.

Beyond haysmacintyre, Hannah is the Chairperson of an expanding cycling club based in South London, this bolsters her awareness of the struggles business owners experience first-hand.

In her spare time, Hannah is often out cycling (especially if it’s sunny), playing badminton or walking her dog.

Alice Palmer

Alice enjoys problem solving and helping clients to minimise their tax burden and also maximise tax reliefs. In particular, she has helped numerous charities claim one of the creative sector tax reliefs, advised on Gift Aid matters, withholding taxes, charitable direct tax exemptions and the use of trading subsidiaries.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2016, Alice trained at a top 10 firm in a busy corporate tax team, building a firm foundation in Corporation Tax compliance and advisory.

Alice is active in local groups, including volunteering at an RDA (Riding for the Disabled) centre and helping improve the local environment.

Outside of the office, Alice enjoys wildlife watching/photography, horse riding, walking and planning her next adventure.

Ramzan Khan

Ramzan has been a generalist for many years and has provided advice across all sectors. Ramzan’s portfolio includes NFPs, such as hospices and faith-based organisations, and also covers professional bodies and corporate organisations, with a particular focus now being the schools and CMT sectors.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2015, Ramzan was a VAT inspector with HMRC for 10 years. His work mainly involved carrying out VAT inspections and VAT repayment enquiries for SMEs. However, he also worked on cross-tax evasion cases as both a VAT lead and a Cash Register/(EPoS)Till Interrogation Officer (which included organising and participating in surveillance), as well as taking part in HMRC strategic management projects (for example, tackling tax compliance through promoting behavioural change).

Ramzan’s spare time is spent with his three young children, he enjoys travelling to hot holiday destinations, board games and reading when opportunity arises.

Robert Sinclair

Rob specialises in managing statutory audits and regulatory assurance work in the financial services sector. In addition to his focus on fund management clients his portfolio includes further corporate clients, educational trusts and schools, membership bodies and firms of solicitors.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2007 Rob studied history at the University of Bristol and for the ICAEW ACA qualification at BPP.

In his spare time, Rob enjoys trips and activities with his young family, cycling, cooking and fishing.

Dinesh Pancholi

Dinesh provides expert advice and support to clients ranging from large corporations to OMBs. He covers all areas of employment tax including employment related securities compliance and reporting.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in October 2021, Dinesh was a Senior Manager in the PKF Smith Cooper Employment taxes team.

Previous to joining an accountancy practice, Dinesh was an HMRC Employer Compliance Office so he can share his experience from both sides!

In his spare time Dinesh enjoys watching football and cricket, reading and listening to music.

Rakesh Vaitha

Rakesh is also experienced in documenting and mapping all finance process flows, including as Head of Internal Audit at his previous employment. With his internal audit knowledge, he would be involved in the assignment to give insight into controls environment and where efficiencies can be achieved.

Chrysanthi Herodotou

Chrysanthi has over 10 years’ experience providing audit and accounting services to a range of FCA regulated and financial services clients. Chrysanthi has supported her financial services clients on statutory reporting matters in addition to providing annual statutory and CASS audit services.

Chrysanthi joined haysmacintyre after graduating from City University, London in 2004.

Chrysanthi likes to keep active, and is a regular gym goer.

David Goode

David specialises in Professional Institutes and Membership Bodies (PIMBs) and enjoys advising clients on diverse and challenging matters which extend beyond the audit.

Prior to joining haysmacintyre in 2013 as part of the firms graduate training scheme, David worked for a private ambulance firm in a flexible role that combined office administration and patient facing service delivery.

Outside of work at haysmacintyre, David is the treasurer for a charity based in Southwark which aims to tackle poverty and social injustice, which bolsters his awareness of initiatives from a client’s perspective.

In his spare time, David enjoys keeping in touch with friends and occasionally keeping active with running or racket sports.

Joanne Hennessy

Jo is experienced in all aspects of employment taxes from compliance requirements, supporting clients with HMRC investigations through to proving advice. Working in these areas has demonstrated how the impact on each client of the same legislation can be significantly different which keeps her passionate about her role.

Jo’s professional development started with HMRC, when it was still the Inland Revenue and was then enhanced through her time in work for two of the current big four accountants before joining haysmacintyre in 2007.

Jo’s was a primary school governor which was a rewarding and interesting experience which as her children have moved on to higher education has now come to an end.

Outside of work Jo keenly follows her son’s sporting and scouting achievements and also visits the gym, and takes part in some organised classes. In addition, she enjoys a good walk a beautiful surrounding whenever possible, going to the theatre and reading.
