BBC News Feature – Could AI take the grind out of accountancy?

Trainee chartered accountant, Owen Hewitt, spoke to the BBC about the impact AI could have on accountancy firms.

The benefits could include taking over some of the more time-consuming parts of the job such as:

• The analysis of financial data
• Content creation
• Drafting documents

Although the implementation could have positive implications, it has been highlighted that AI could have some negative consequences.
