Rakesh is the Head of our Risk Assurance & Advisory Services team at haysmacintyre. Rakesh’s role is to help clients identify, assess, and mitigate their risks and provide pragmatic advice in relation to governance, risk management and internal control arrangements. Rakesh is also CISA qualified and provides technology risk services, such as IT risk assessments, IT general controls, IT application controls, information security, cyber security and service organisation control reporting.
Rakesh is experienced in assisting clients with implementing risk management frameworks as well as providing tailored governance reviews. Rakesh’s expertise extends beyond traditional internal audit functions, and he has actively engaged in providing advisory services to senior management, offering insights into process improvements, strategic initiatives, and emerging risks. By leveraging his analytical skills, Rakesh has contributed to strengthening his clients’ organisational resilience and optimising their resource allocation.
Prior to joining haysmacintyre, Rakesh worked in financial services, and within the corporate and not for profit sectors, including NHS and local/central government, providing risk assurance services. Rakesh specialised in major capital works and procurement over several years.
