  • Disrupter or Destroyer – what impact will AI have on Business and the Economy?
     November 14, 2023
     5:15 pm - 8:00 pm

The first seminar in the series, ‘Disrupter or Destroyer – what impact will AI have on Business and the Economy?’, will explore the potentially profound impact on the way we live and work in the future; after all, it is predicted that it will raise global GDP by 7% over a decade.

This year, the UK Government launched an AI White Paper to guide the use of artificial intelligence in the UK and as the Technology Minister, Michelle Donelan said: “AI has the potential to make Britain a smarter, healthier and happier place to live and work.” On the other hand, it is also replacing jobs and calling into question the need for humanity for many tasks.

Natasha Frangos, Managing Partner at haysmacintyre will chair an esteemed panel of experts including Piers Linney, Co-founder, Implement AI and former Dragons’ Den investor, Katie Prescott, Technology Editor at The Times, Lord (Jim) Knight of Weymouth, Vice-Chair of the All-Party Group on AI, Board Member of three AI in education companies and Alex Krasodomski-Jones, Senior Research Fellow at the Digital Society Initiative at Chatham House.

We hope you can join us for the first event in the series!
