     January 16, 2023
     5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

The built environment accounts for around 40% of global CO2e emissions. If we are to hit net zero and mitigate the impacts of climate change, we all need to do more, quicker.

Crystal Associates, with partners, has therefore compiled a series of in-person presentations, webinars, and podcasts to help their clients, potential clients, and frankly anyone who will listen, along the journey.

How to drive your building smarter and keep the lights on!

The new International Standard, EN ISO 52120-1:2022 has just replaced the British version, EN 15232-1:2017 and has to be implemented at a UK national level. But what does this actually mean?

For the first event of the series, Smart buildings expert, Steve Loughney, will explain what the standard means for the energy performance of buildings and the impact of building automation, controls and building management. Steve will also explain how can you shield your business and your client’s business from the impact of ever-increasing energy costs? In addition, how can you protect your business from the risk that energy supplies may be restricted this winter and thus keep the lights on?

Steve will also be joined by Mark Shewring, tax partner, from event hosts, haysmacintyre. Mark will look at some of the ways in which the current tax environment supports the investment required in green technology and reduces the net cost of adapting.

Join us on Monday 16 January 2023, from 17:30-19:30 at haysmacintyre’s central London office for a great evening of discussions on the above, while also networking over drinks & canapés.

Who should attend:
