David is a Corporate tax director with over 18 years’ experience working in tax, with a specific focus on the Financial Services sector. Over his career, David has spent 11 years working at ‘Big Four’ firms.
David advises his clients in the Financial Services sector on a range of topics, from ensuring that the corporation tax return is correct and complete, through to advising on more technical areas in the sector.
David’s clients consist of a range of investment managers and he has recently advised on the mixed member/salaried member rules, the pros and cons of the Reporting Fund Status regime, the application of the Disguised Investment Management Fee rules and the risk of creating a UK Permanent Establishment of offshore vehicles in the UK.
Beyond haysmacintyre, David is the Chairman and Treasurer of the Sevenoaks Round Table.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, exploring London, and a good curry.
