Kay is a private client and trust specialist who has a wealth of experience in advising high net worth individuals and their families and resident and Non-resident trustees.
Kay started her career at the Inland Revenue before moving in to practice. Kay has experience in all areas of personal tax planning for UK resident individuals including all aspects of estate planning such as Inheritance Tax planning, succession and will planning. In addition to advising UK residents, Kay also advises non-resident and non-domiciled individuals and foreign nationals moving to the UK.
Kay has experience in advising non-resident trustees on the complexities of the UK tax legislation and the implications for UK resident settlors and beneficiaries who benefit from offshore trust funds.
Kay was a Council member of the Association of Taxation Technicians from 2015 to 2022 and has been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners since 2012 and is able to assist clients with estate administration and obtaining probate.
Outside work, Kay spends her time outdoors, hiking, running, cycling and walking Monty the family dog. Kay also volunteers for the Kent Wildlife Trust checking livestock on their local reserves.
