Matthew enjoys advising clients on diverse and challenging matters which extend beyond audit, such as due diligence projects, providing transaction services (cash modelling and IPO support) and advising on technical accounting issues ranging from UK GAAP vs IFRS differences to share options and intangibles assets.
Matthew specialises in delivering robust and efficient audits to clients, primarily in the Creative, Media & Technology (CMT) sector. His experience ranges from owner managed start-ups, international groups to listed companies on a variety of stock exchanges.
Matthew started as an audit trainee at haysmacintyre in 2019 and qualified as a chartered accountant before progressing to Assistant Manager within the CMT sector, where he has been a key member of the audit team.
In his spare time, Matthew enjoys watching and playing sports and travelling to new countries each year.
