Sophie joined haysmacintyre as a trainee in 2016 and qualified as a chartered accountant before promptly progressing into a management role, specialising in the Creative, Media and Technology sector.
Within the sector, Sophie has a particular specialism in media and technology clients, which include both privately owned companies as well as publicly listed groups. She has experience in managing the audit process of standard and AIM listed groups and companies, which provides her with a strong understanding of the reporting requirements for various listed entities.
Sophie regularly works with entrepreneurial, scale-up businesses and understands the importance of regular communication backed by strong, sector-specific technical expertise. She enjoys advising clients on diverse and challenging matters which often extend beyond audit, such as overseeing due diligence projects.
Outside of work Sophie enjoys most sports, including running, cycling and swimming. She also loves walking her dog and spending time with family and friends.
